Bangalore University Library in the Southern State of Karnataka in India, on Monday gained the distinction of becaming the first university e-library in the State digitising details of its collection of over 3.6 lakh books and providing e-access to general reference material.

Educomp Solutions Ltd launched smart class programme .These digital classrooms are controlled by a knowledge centre set up in the school premises, which would serve as a repository of content. With a storage capacity of almost 106 gbs, the server will route the desired content to the respective classrooms through a campus-wide cable network. The teachers can use digital resources like graphics, animations, 3-D images and video clips extensively.
