U srijedu 17. 5. Sredinji je dravni ured za e-Hrvatsku povodom Svjetskog dana informacijskog drutva predstavio rezultate Studije dostupnosti javnih usluga na internetu u proloj godini. Prema toj je studiji do kraja prole godine građanima putem interneta bilo dostupno oko 38% javnih usluga, a poslovnim subjektima oko 29%. Ovo predstavlja vrlo veliko povećanje u odnosu na prethodnu 2004. kada je tim putem građanima bilo dostupno tek oko 4%, a poslovnom sektoru oko 6% javnih usluga.

Alijansa za OpenDocument format ( ODF Alliance) koju čini irok krug udruenja, akademskih institucija i predstavnika industrije, posvećenih rjeavanju problema poboljanja pristupa i dostupnosti elektroničkih dokumenata vlada, čestitala je jučer (3. 5. 2006.) Međunarodnoj organizaciji za standardizaciju ( ISO) na uvjerljivoj pobjedi odluke o odobrenju OpenDocument formata kao međunarodnog standarda, kao i organizaciji OASIS (Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards) koja je kreirala predloila taj format ISO-u.
