02.06.2006 U ponedjeljak je službeno objavljeno kako je T-Hrvatski telekom, kompanija nastala transformacijom i privatizacijom nacionalne telekomunikacijske kompanije i donedavni potpuni monopolist u fiksnoj telefoniji akvizicijom vrijednom 13,7 milijuna Eura postala 100 postotni vlasnik dionica IskonInterneta, jednog od uspješnijih ISP-ova u Hrvatskoj. Time je T-HT uklonio najjačeg konkurenta na tržištu internetskih usluga i prema podacima iznesenim u dnevniku Večernji list, zauzeo 83 posto tog tržišta.
