Section 5 deals with connecting WSIS ICT Policy with Armed Conflict in the BPFA. Produced by the International Women's Tribune Centre as part of the efforts of the NGO Gender Strategies Working Group to engender the WSIS process.

17.05.2004 Sixty-six returnees, refugees and IDPs, as well as persons with special needs from Prijedor, successfully completed the course on the basics of information sciences. The training programme lasted from February 1 to April 30, 2004, and was financed by the Danish Refugee Council.

Knjiga Globalni gradjani donosi najvaznije rezultate empirijske studije korisnika Interneta u Srbiji, koju je istrazivacki tim CePIT-a sproveo tokom 2003. godine, kao i temeljan uvod u koncept, teoriju i istrazivanje informacionog drustva.
Na promociji ce govoriti Nenad Golcevski i Goran Milovanovic, urednici CePITa, koji ce ukratko predstaviti neke od najvaznijih rezultata dobijenih u ovoj obimnoj studiji.

02.05.2004 Yesterday, April 29, the first workshop of the Trans_European Picnic was held in Novi Sad, in the facilities of kuda.org.

The workshop was led by Guy van Belle, from the Amsterdam based organization Waag Society, organization which works in the field of use of streaming and internet technologies in art forms, primarily in performing arts and music, but also in the field of visual arts.

OneWorld SEE talked to Guy van Belle about the workshop.
