20.10.2006 Oko milion i po stanivnika Srbije, ili 24,2 odsto, koristi internet, pokazalo je istraživanje Centra za proucavanje informacionih tehnologija (CEPIT) Beogradske otvorene skole. U odnosu na raspoložive podatke iz 1999. godine, broj korisnika interneta u Srbiji poratsao je pet puta, ali, prema ocenama CEPIT, to je nezadovoljavajući porast, jer je izostala dramatična stopa rasta kakva je bila uobičajena u drugim zemljama u početnim fazama njegovog korišćenja.

19.10.2006 The Second International Conference will take place in Skopje, Macedonia, on November 15, 16 and 17th, 2006. This year, the focus of the conference is regional approach to ICT policy creation. The CD contains free source software in Macedonian and English language for office work, web-surfing, image editing and processing, and 11 games.
