22.01.2007 Intian ja maailmankin informaatioteknologian keskukseksi nousseen Bangaloren synkkä puoli tuli esiin, kun lauma kulkukoiria repi kahdeksanvuotiaan tytön kappaleiksi. Infrastruktuurin, varsinkin teiden ja alikulkutunneleiden rakentaminen, etenee takkuisesti Bangaloren kaupungin lupauksista huolimatta. Se kärjistää osaltaan ristiriitaa it-huuman ja arjen koettelemusten välillä 6,8 miljoonan asukkaan metropolissa.

04.01.2007 The use of ICT in school has the potential not only to improve education, but also to empower people, strengthen governance, open up new market and galvanize the effort to achieve the human development goal for the country. When it comes to computer education in rural primary schools, they still remain the stepchildren of the much-talked-about hi-tech wave that is sweeping the nation.
