15.06.2003 The Division for Public Administration and Development Management of the United Nations Online Network in Public Administration and Finance (UNPAN) is soliciting self-nominations from e-government managers in developing countries to participate in an experts' meeting on "New ICT and E-Government" to be held in Mexico City in November 2003.

15.06.2003 Nominations are invited for the Petersberg Prize, which recognises exemplary contributions in the field of ICT for development, especially those that benefit the poor. Nominations are due by January 1, 2004.

09.06.2003 The Asia Pacific Regional Training Centre is conducting a five-week online course to teach agricultural professionals in the region how to take advantage of resources available through the Internet. The course aims to help participants improve their online learning capability, ability to use a range of Internet communication/learning tools and Internet searching skills.

09.06.2003 Women in Global Science and Technology has launched a new information and announcement list "ICTsforRuralWomen". The list will circulate information on resources, events and organisations working on issues related to how women can use ICTs to support their grassroots productive enterprises.
