Mary and other widows near their farm
21.01.2003 In an urban slum of crumbling shacks just outside of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania's largest city, Mary Kasanda and 499 other widows of AIDS victims are raising a mushroom farm. She has never used the Internet, but she is betting on it to get herself and others out of poverty.
