Indian radio broadcaster All India Radio (AIR) is broadcasting everyday a programme on women health issues from its 14 stations in collaboration with the Madhya Pradesh government, UNICEF and the Department of International Development (DFID).

The UN Security Council's counter-terrorism directorate has launched an online database to help countries to develop their own counter-terrorism programmes. UN also hopes to help countries in drafting terrorism-related legislation, financial law and practice regulations, training for personnel and enhancing law regulations.

Villages in Kerala will soon find a place in the cyber world through a state government project, Akshaya, that provides custom-made web portals for all communities in their local language (Malayalam). Supported by UNESCO, the initiative aims to provide computer literacy to the people and implement the project with their participation.

Teachers from the National Institute for Disabled (NID), Khaling and Drukgyel Higher Secondary School have tied up with Media LT, an NGO spearheading ICT access for the visually impaired in Bhutan. The purpose of the training is to enhance their quality of work through Internet access and computer applications.
