10.02.2006 The Australian Information Industry Association's 2006 iAwards are set to recongnise ICT innovation across a total of 19 key industry categories with nominations closing on February 23rd, 2006.

iAwards will be presented for ICT solutions across a total of 19 key industry categories - agriculture and primary industry; applications and infrastructure tools; communications applications; community education and training; e-government and services; financial applications; general applications; healthcare; industrial applications; media and entertainment; research and development.

The South Western Railway (SWR) on Tuesday launched services to offer railway information on SMS and credit/ debit card-based vending machines to issue unreserved tickets.
