Kehidupan korban pelanggaran HAM pun sangat memprihatinkan. Mereka pun rata-rata bekerja sebagai buruh. Saat ini masih banyak anak-anak dari korban pelanggaran HAM yang putus sekolah karena penghasilan orangtuanya sebagai buruh tidak mencukupi. Karena itu, anak-anak mereka berhak atas pendidikan yang layak, kesehatan, tempat tinggal yang layak, yang semuanya harus diberikan pemerintah secara gratis.

In a landmark judgment, IndiaÂ’s Supreme Court has upheld the law that provides reservation in admissions in central government educational institutions to backward castes. With this the share of reserved seats will be close to 50%. However, the affluent sections from the disadvantaged groups will not be able to gain the preferential treatment.
