26.02.2006 Educomp Solutions Ltd launched smart class programme .These digital classrooms are controlled by a knowledge centre set up in the school premises, which would serve as a repository of content. With a storage capacity of almost 106 gbs, the server will route the desired content to the respective classrooms through a campus-wide cable network. The teachers can use digital resources like graphics, animations, 3-D images and video clips extensively.

06.02.2006 When noted social activist Anna Hazrae came visiting to Agra for inaugurating the Fifth Annual Regional meeting of OneWorld South Asia (OWSA) on 23- 24 January, 250 strong audience from the South Asian region at the Jaypee hotel couldn’t contain their excitement. As they say this grand old man of India rarely comes visiting. And when he speaks he has a plethora of issues to address to. OWSA’s Annual Regional meeting gave him such a platform where he applauded OWSA’s initiative of bringing people’s voices from the South Asian Region.

P.V.
