U drugi krug za izbor gradonacelnika usli su kandidat Srpske radikalne stranke - Maja Gojkovic sa 42,1 odsto glasova i Borislav Novakovic /Demokratska stranka/ sa 32,8 odsto glasova.

The Ontario government has chased out an Ohio-based diagnostic health clinic that was planning to offer fee-based services from mobile vans. Life Line Screening's services are already available for free under Canadian medicare. "These companies prey on fear," said Ontario Health Minister George Smitherman. "They create business by generating a sense of need around services."

A plan to require automakers to cut greenhouse gas emissions from cars and trucks by about 30 percent is expected to be approved on Thursday by the California Air Resources Board, backers and opponents said.
