28.02.2005 In Colombia sette persone, tra cui tre bambini, sono stati trucidati dall'esercito governativo. Tra questi il leader della comunità di San José Luis Eduardo Guerra che aveva partecipato a vari Forum e alla marcia Perugia-Assisi. Una marcia di 200 persone è partita alla ricerca dei corpi protetta da osservatori internazionali. A questo assassinio si aggiungono altri tre episodi di azioni terroristiche e persecutorie verso la comunità di San José. A inzio febbraio si è conclusa a Cartagena la Conferenza dei Paesi donatori della Colombia che ha visto l'Unione Europea sostenere i progetti di cooperazione internazionale dei "Laboratori di Pace" che vengono usati dal governo di Uribe per aiutare le neonate "organizzazioni non governative" create dai paramilitari.

28.02.2005 Kryeministri Ramush Haradinaj deklaroi se “janë duke vazhduar punët për t’i gjetur mënyrat e zbatimit të Kontratës Kolektive në përputhje me realitetin në Kosovë”, derisa kryetari i OEK-ut Ismail Kastrati tha se Kontrata Kolektive duhet të implementohet si tërsi, duke filluar nga 1 qeshori. Kryetari i BSPK-së, Bahri Shabani ndërkaq, tha se gjërat do të qartësohen deri më 20 mars dhe, sipas tij, Kontrata duhet të implementohet retroaktivisht që nga 1 janari.

28.02.2005 Faure Gnassingbe has stepped down as Togo's interim president but declared he expects to be back in the position soon as a special election will be held within weeks. Saturday, West African nations dropped sanctions imposed after Gnassingbe's illegal succession, but opposition parties inside the country were still not optimistic they would be given a fair shot at the presidency.

28.02.2005 The first way to analyze a federal budget is to look at what's been called for and what was delivered. Last fall, CPJ called for a limited, realistic mix of measures that would make a serious difference in the level and depth of child and family poverty in Canada. Tada se zavrsava rok koji im je Komisija ostavila za postovanje ove obaveze iz Zakona o konfliktu interesa, odlucivsi da prvobitni period, zavrsen 15. januara, produzi za mjesec i po.

28.02.2005 In Colombia è stato assassinato dall'esercito governativo Luis Eduardo Guerra Guerra, leader della comunità e membro del Consiglio Interno dagli inizi del processo. Lunedì 21 febbraio verso le 11 fu fermato dall'esercito nei fiume Mulatos, in compagnia della compagna Bellanira , suo figlio Deinier ed un altro giovane, fratellastro di Luis Eduardo. Il martedì 22 febbraio il fratellastro di Luis Eduardo che era riuscito a fuggire dall'esercito, li cerca e nella casa di Alfonso Bolívar dove erano stati portati, trova sangue e segue le impronte di sangue fino a trovare, vicino alla casa, una fossa coi cadaveri spezzatti totalmente. Luis Eduardo gran amico e bravo leader, difensore dei diritti umani, fondatore della nostra comunità, delegato da cinque anni dalla comunità per interagire nel loro nome con lo Stato Colombiano per la concertazione delle misure provvisorie; da tre anni integrante e coordinatore dei comitati di diritti umani della comunità, viaggiò varie volte per invito dall'Europa e gli Stati Uniti a condividere la sua esperienza.

28.02.2005 Iz putničkog voza koji je saobraćao na relaciji Beograd–Bar, u stanici Štrpci, 27. februara 1993. oteto je 19 putnika, uglavnom bošnjačke nacionalnosti. Za ovaj zločin za sada je na 15 godina zatvora osuđen samo Nebojša Ranisavljević. Posle 12 godina od otmice i zločina, osam beogradskih nevladinih organizacija traže sprovođenje temeljne istrage i suđenje ostalim počiniocima i naredbodavcima, dosuđivanje pravičnih naknada štete porodicama žrtava, te saopštavanje pune istine i uloge bivših vlasti o ovom zločinu

Le SCFP Québec avait obtenu copie d’un rapport commandé par le conseil, rapport qui démontrait que si la construction de la nouvelle résidence Saint-Charles se fait en PPP, elle coûtera 34 pour cent de plus que si elle est faite par le public.

24.02.2005 In spite of the perition signed by 7,000 people and the 30 or so requests signed by NGOs from all over the Bosnia and Herzegovina, in spite of the 500 young people soaked to the bone that protested in front of the Parliamentary Assembly and the lobbying of MPs that spent 70 minutes debated the sale of the former “Marsalka” Barracks and held two-hour break to approximate their positions, the House of the Nations confirmed the decision to sell a part of the land belonging to the former military barracks to the US Government for the construction of a new embassy building.
