24.11.2006 "Nella Finanziaria dei tagli e dei risparmi del governo Prodi, il rischio è che aumentino di oltre 2 miliardi di euro, cioè dell'11%, le spese belliche, i fondi per le Forze armate e il finanziamento pubblico al comparto militar-industriale" - segnala Luca Kocci di Adista. Se nel 2006 la spesa totale – comprendente cioè il funzionamento ordinario delle quattro Forze armate, le missioni militari all'estero e gli armamenti – era di 18 miliardi e 862 milioni di euro, per il 2007 si prevede una spesa complessiva di 21 miliardi e 144 milioni di euro (18.134 milioni dal bilancio preventivo della Difesa e 3.010 aggiunti dalla legge Finanziaria in discussione proprio in queste settimane). Una scheda di Luciano Bertozzi di Archivio Disarmo sulle novità introdotte col maxiemendamento alla camera alla Finanziaria 2007 conferma lo stanziamento di "1,7 miliardi di euro per il 2007, 1,550 miliardi euro per il 2008 e di 1,2 miliardi di euro per il 2009" per un fondo "destinato a finanziare i programmi di investimento pluriennali, sia per esigenze di difesa nazionale, sia in attuazione di accordi internazionali". Le norme sono ora all’esame del Senato per la seconda lettura.
