L'abbigliamento equosolidale è diventato il nuovo campo di battaglia ecologico per i principali rivenditori britannici, al punto che la domanda di cotone etico certificato è raddoppiata negli ultimi sei mesi. Il marchio, che paga di più i contadini, sta ora cercando di tenere il passo con le richieste che arrivano da aziende e rivenditori di marca come Marks & Spencer, Next, J Sainsbury e Debenhams. Il numero di produttori di cotone che ha beneficiato del marchio Fairtrade è cresciuto nell'ultimo anno di un 30%, ma la domanda probabilmente arriverà a superare l'offerta. Solo Mark & Spencer richiederà oltre un terzo dell'attuale produzione per rispettare l'impegno di essere il maggior rivenditore inglese. Alla vigilia delle due settimane sul commercio equo, Tamara James, business development officer della Fairtrade Foundation, dichiara che "L'aumento d'interesse del mercato inglese significa che dovremo certificare più contadini".

The problem lies altogether with the incorrect understanding of the concept of pre-primary education. It is submitted that pre-primary education is in fact not a formal education as is commonly understood but is only a play way education. It is well known fact that the children are sent to play way schools as early as of two years of age and the same is gaining ground.

At least 67 people were killed and 50 injured when two firebombs went off on the New Delhi-Wagah Samjhauta Express just before midnight on Sunday. Most of the dead, including three children, are Pakistani citizens: the first civilians of that country to have died in a terrorist strike on Indian soil.
