Children living in indigenous communities face far greater threats to their survival than other children, according to a new study by the research arm of the UN Children's Fund. Indigenous communities are under economic and cultural stress, and children are less likely to be vaccinated or attend school. The report suggests a series of "strategic investments" that could help turn this situation around.

Alkuperäiskansojen lapset selviytyvät hengissä muita huonommin eivätkä pääse kouluun, selviää Unicefin tuoreesta raportista. He saavat muita heikomman rokotussuojan ja heidän kuolleisuuslukunsa on korkeampi.
