30.06.2004 On June 28, the cultural event “Days of European Heritage in Bosnia and Herzegovina” was opened. The whole festival will end on July 22. The festival is a project of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, and was officially opened by Minister Gavrilo Grahovac. Grahovac also opened the first event of the whole festival, the exhibition of works by elementary and secondary school students on two subjects: “Youth and Heritage” and “Old Bridges in Bosnia and Herzegovina.”

30.06.2004 The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam are waging a campaign in eastern Sri Lanka to abduct former child soldiers for their forces, Human Rights Watch has said. Over the last three weeks, the armed opposition group has intensified efforts to re-recruit child combatants released by Colonel Karuna, a renegade rebel commander defeated by its forces in April.

Na natječaju na temu rijeka Dunav, učestvovali su učenici osnovnih škola iz Republike Hrvatske. Dodjela nagrada predvidjena je za 03.07.2004 godine, u sklopu proslave Dana Dunava, u Zlatnoj Gredi kod Osijeka.

Projekat finansira UNICEF BiH, a ostvaruje se u saradnji sa oba entitetska ministarstva nadležna za pitanje dječije zaštite. Potpuna realizacija je planirana do 15. januara 2005. godine.
