27.02.2004 L'Alto Commissariato delle Nazioni Unite per i Rifugiati (Unhcr) ha lanciato un urgente appello ai donatori perché contribuiscano a soddisfare gli impellenti bisogni alimentari di circa 126mila rifugiati in Etiopia: da maggio in poi non ci saranno più provviste per sfamare i profughi. E l'Unhcr comunica che anche per i profughi somali rifugiati in Kenya la situazione è drammatica.

26.02.2004 Last November, a delegation made of different members of the Osservatorio sui Balcani presented to the EU Parliament in Strasbourg the final document of the initiative “Danube: Europe is meeting”.

The document was approved in the Beograd Sava Centre on September the 20th, following a ten day boat journey on the Danube organized by the Osservatorio, an Italian based NGO and electronic media committed to the European reunification, together with Italian Consortium of Solidarity and ten local and international NGOs (among them OneWorld-SEE).

The latest CoE Report criticizes Montenegro for its failure to adopt European standards, inadequate reforms and failure to fulfill the obligations it accepted at the entry in the CoE.
