25.01.2006 Suomen UFF keräsi viime vuonna ennätyssuuren vaatemäärän, yhteensä 5,5 miljoonaa kiloa vaatteita kierrätykseen. Innokkaimmin vaatteita kierrätettiin edellisten vuosien tapaan Salossa, 3,6 kiloa asukasta kohden. UFF:n avustuksella tuetaan koulutusta etupäässä eteläisessä Afrikassa.

25.01.2006 The State Bank estimates the potential of Pakistan-India trade in the range of $1 billion to $5.2 billion in a year as according to an analysis of bilateral trade composition in the year 2004 there are 1,181 items worth $3.9 billion common between PakistanÂ’s exports and Indian imports. Similarly, against 2,646 common items of PakistanÂ’s imports worth $7 billion in the year 2004, India had exports worth over $15 billion.

Tänä vuonna tarvitaan arviolta 800 miljoonaa dollaria riittävän avun tarjoamiseksi. Järjestö myös kiittää avustajia runsaasta tuesta tsunamin ja Pakistanin lapsiuhrien auttamiseksi.
