20.04.2007 The findings of the survey done by WHO in six states of India, distinctly states that health costs are out of the reach of the poor and made them more vulnerable to ill-health. 09.04.2007 A new form of bondage has been found in the south Indian state Tamil Nadu where textile units under the Sumangali Scheme or the Marriage Assistance Scheme are hiring adolescent girls and forcing them in bonded labour.
