"L'impianto consiste in una nave gasiera lunga 240 metri e larga 40, collegata a terra attraverso un condotto sottomarino. E prevista inoltre una nave appoggio che notte e giorno dovrà evitare l’avvicinamento di imbarcazioni non autorizzate". "Le nostre preoccupazioni originarie ora aumentano, visto che, per ammissione della stessa Giunta Regionale, si dà contraddittoriamente una autorizzazione senza che preventivamente siano stati fugati tutti i dubbi sulla sicurezza dei rigassificatori e in particolare di quello offshore previsto a Livorno che sarebbe il primo al mondo costruito con una tecnologia sperimentale per questo tipo di impianto" chiariscono i Comitati.
