04.06.2004 Mandated with making all government services available electronically in the United Kingdom by the end of 2005, the Office of the e-Envoy has been quite successful in its efforts. However, the e-Envoy, willl cease to exist in its present avatar and be merged with other government departments . It will continue to oversee the government-wide systems integration.

03.06.2004 Women of the Uganda Network (WOUGNET) participated in the Open Knowledge Network workshop held recently in Nairobi, Kenya. The workshop focused on building a network for content creation and ICT for development activities in East Africa.
