A new U.N. report in India has warned that the country's booming economic growth could slow if HIV-AIDS continues to spread unchecked. The United Nations says 5.7 million people are infected with HIV in India - the largest number in any country in the world.

Di certo gli estensori non hanno letto i report che in questi ultimi due anni centri di ricerca ed istituzioni multilaterali hanno scritto. Il rapporto edito pochi giorni fa dall’Agenzia Onu per lo sviluppo (l’UNDP) è dedicato al tema del commercio e dello sviluppo umano in Asia e nel Pacifico, un’ampia area geografica del pianeta che ha abbracciato il libero scambio ma in cui, come afferma il documento, il libero scambio non ha abbracciato i poveri.
