Austrian freelance writer Shelley Seale is researching a book - The Weight of Silence: Invisible Children of India - on the countrys 12 million orphans. She claims that social and economic circumstances increase the vulnerability of the children to the HIV virus which not only depletes the human body but also depletes families and communities of their assets.

Udruga RODA Roditelji u akciji odlučila je povodom obiljeavanja Majčinog dana (13. 5.) pokrenuti akciju kojom bi se senzibilizirala hrvatska javnost o loim uvjetima u hrvatskim rodilitima i upoznala s krenjem osnovnih ljudskih prava tijekom porođaja. Udruga RODA u ovoj akciji nastupa u suradnji sa Udrugom primalja i udrugom B.a.B.e. Akcija će se odrati 12. 5. 2007. godine od 10 do 14 sati, u strogom centru Zagreba.
