14.11.2007 Il tribunale civile di Bangalore ha emesso a fine settembre un mandato di arresto nei confronti di sette esponenti della Clean Clothes Campaign e dell’India Committee of the Netherlands, insieme al provider dei rispettivi siti e al fornitore della linea adsl, al fine di costringerli ad assistere alla prossima udienza del processo in corso che li vede imputati per "diffamazione via internet, razzismo e xenofobia" per aver diffuso informazioni sulle violazioni dei diritti dei lavoratori negli stabilimenti produttivi della FFI/JKPL, terzista indiano di noti marchi, primo fra tutti l’olandese G-Star, ma anche di nomi della moda italiana come Armani e RaRe. Il tribunale ha respinto la richiesta delle due organizzazioni di farsi rappresentare dai propri legali ed entro il 20 novembre dovrebbe decidere se il mandato di arresto avrà validità internazionale.

For every laptop donated for a child, the donor would get one in return. The campaign is backed by Google, Intel, eBay, News Corp and Advance Micro Devices.
