It is also believed that increased income levels lead to improved health, education and living standards. However, development experiences show that there is no automatic link between increased per capita income and reduction in poverty levels.

Io avevo tanto sperato che il suo governo avrebbe riportato l’Italia a essere Paese non più in guerra con altri Paesi, come prevede la Costituzione italiana (art.11). Purtroppo non è stato così. Ne prendo atto con rammarico. Devo confessarle che non me lo aspettavo. Non mi aspettavo la decisione di rimanere in Afghanistan. Una guerra ingiusta contro un popolo che non ci aveva fatto proprio nulla.
