France to test e-voting during European Constitution referendum

Eighteen French municipalities will use e-voting machines during the referendum of 29 May 2005. The referendum will provide municipalities with the possibility of testing one or more e-voting systems. Some of the e-voting experiments will be legally binding (e.g. in the city of Antibes Juan-les-Pins), while others will not have any legal value. More.
