Turkish volunteer Yasmein Gunay has helped Nigeria's Mgbala Agwa Youth Forum to establish a strong regional presence by setting up an online volunteer service for the organisation. She established an online group for sharing of files, coordinated with organisations and established a central database management system.

Dos anys després de l'empresonament d'Abdullah Ocalan, lÃder del PKK (Partit dels Treballadors del Kurdistan), la guerra al Kurdistan s'ha acabat, però els problemes continuen, les tensions augmenten i les esperances de pau s'esvaeixen. El Govern turc encara no reconeix oficialment els 12 milions de kurds com una minoria amb una cultura i llengua pròpies, hi ha 200.000 militars desplegats al sud-est del paÃs i el germà d'Abdullah Ocalan ha advertit que si el govern no reconeix aviat els drets de la població kurda el PKK tornarà a la lluita.
