Mobile phone service providers in the United Kingdom have decided to set up a mechanism to rate multimedia content delivered to subscribers. The Independent Mobile Classification Body (IMCB), which is the proposed adult content regulator, will draw a framework comparable to the standards in other media. IMCB will act as a subsidiary of telephone content regulator ICSTIS.

Sipas hulumtimit të UNDP-së, BeH ka një barazi të dobët gjinore kur bie fjala tek punësimi i femrave të TKI (Teknologjia Komunikative dhe Informative). Sipas të dhënave të hulumtimit nga zyrat e punësimit dhe vlerësimi për e-gatishmërinë gratë zënë vetëm një të tretën e vendeve të punës që kanë të bëjnë me TKI-në. Duke pasur parasysh se sipas EUSTAT (Agjencia Evropiane për Statistika) kërkesa për TKI është 12% më e lartë se në furnizimin e tërësishëm të BE-së, BeH ka një shansë historike të luftës papunësinë nëpërmes zhvillimit të industrisë së TKI-së

According to the UNDP research, BiH has very poor gender balance when it comes to employment of women in ICT. According to the research data from employment biros and e-Readiness assessment women hold just one third of jobs related to use of ICT. Having in mind that according to the EUSTAT (EU agency for statistics) demand for ICT is 12% higher then current EU supply, BiH has historic chance to combat unemployment through development of ICT industry.

A virtual reality software developed in the United Kingdom has shown schools unlimited possibilities in using the multimedia for education. The Gateshead City Learning Centre has equipped students with resources that they can only dream about. Even teachers are agreeing that the softwares trials have exceeded all expectations.

A court in the United Kingdom has allowed the countrys schools to use wireless systems in educational software despite an electronic registration patent held by a private company. The court accepted the education departments challenge to the patent after the company started offering schools a paid licence to use the software.
