27.02.2004 Communication Ministers from the Region (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, and Serbia and Montenegro) today in Budapest have signed the Joint Statement of the Ministers of the SEE countries to build an Inclusive Information Society. The Statement was signed in the context of the European Ministerial Conference on Information Society entitled: “New opportunities for growth in an enlarged Europe.” The aim of the Statement is to reaffirm strong and long-term commitment to develop an inclusive Information Society in SEE countries, and it expresses the will to be associated as closely as possible to the eEurope processes, taking into account the specific situations of the region’s countries.
