The Internet under Surveillance
30.07.2004 Authoritarian governments in many countries still control the free flow of information on the internet, shows a recently published global report by Reporters Without Borders. Besides, many democratic societies in Europe and America have started exercising surveillance on internet communication for controlling terrorism.

29.07.2004 Dopo la decisione della Commissione Europea di multare Microsoft per “abuso di posizione dominante sul mercato”, la Free Software Foundation Europe partecipa al ricorso presentato dal gigante di Bill Gates per difendere il software libero. Dopo Monaco e Bergen, anche il Comune di Parigi sta decidendo di scegliere il software libero. A Bolzano una rete di realtà ha promosso un documento con l'adesione dei sindacati. Oltre che per le amministrazioni pubbliche, le piattaforme libere sono viste anche come strategie di lotta al “digital divide” tra nord e sud del mondo.

Tim povodom razgovarali smo, za Danas, sa jednim od njenih urednika i autorom Nenadom Golčevskim, CEPIT koordinatorom, partnerom po više projekata i eseja iz oblasti sajber psihologije i teorije.
