knowledge management in poverty reduction workshop

Community Content Creation Network (C3Net), an online forum of professionals in ICT for rural development, plans to hold a workshop on knowledge sharing for development. The Information Management and Knowledge Sharing (IM&KS) workshop, being supported by HIVOS, will take place in Kampala, Uganda from April 15 to 19, 2005.

The workshop seeks to address the lack of inormation management skills among most of the development practioners engaged in ICT-enabled developmental projects. It will help the workshop participants formulate and implement IM and KS systems in rural areas.

Field practitioners based in Africa engaged in rural development or ICT-driven development projects are expected to participate in this workshop.
