Nepalese radio station airs tutorials for secondary school students

Radio Shreenagar of Palpa district in Nepal has started airing programmes to provide tutorial support to the local students appearing for the SLCS examination. On-the-air tutorials on English, Mathematics and Science are being offered for the students of class X and XI.

As the news casting by the FM stations in Nepal is banned, Radio ShreenagarÂ’s Tution-on-air has soon become popular among the SLC students of Tansen municipality and nearby villages. Not surprisingly, the programmes have been able to generate sponsorships within one-week of their transmission.
