Education for All Global Monitoring Report (GMR) holds an online consultation running from 10 to 25 March. UNESCO publishes the GMR annually to monitor the progress made by the nations states in achieving the Education for All goals.
The consultation attracts participation of about 1500 individuals from countries around the world. An outline of the GMR is available in English, French and Spanish as a guideline to the discussion.
Literacy is identified as the key theme of 2006 EFA report which is slated to be published by the end of this year. Through this consultation, the GMR team expects to receive constructive criticism of the proposed outline and promote dialogue and exchange perspectives on the multiple dimensions of literacy and EFA.
