Angelina Jolie appears on MTV for campaigning against trafficking

Swedish development agency SIDA has joined hands with MTV Europe Foundation for making short documentaries on trafficking of young people in Europe. Academy award winner film actress Angelina Jolie will host the broadcasts of the films.

SIDA plans to provide support to the distribution of the films, besides making it available through the site http://www.mtvexit.org, which will be available in 14 languages.

Jolie, who is also a well known advocate of Human Rights and Good-will ambassador for the UN agency UNHCR, said that “I hope that the Exit campaign will strengthen women and girls against trafficking and provide them with information so that they can make well grounded decisions for their future”.
