China to Help Bangladesh Deploying 900,000 Land phones
Post and Telecommunications Minister Barrister Mohammad Aminul Haque on Monday said the ministry has undertaken a project to install 900,000 new land phones in Dhaka, district headquarters and upazila sadars with the financial help of the Chinese Government, reports BSS.
The Economic Relations Division (ERD) is negotiating for US$ 400 million soft loan to install 900,000 the new land phones with the Chinese Government, he told Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) in an exclusive interview.
