Use ICT resources in providing education, says Indian HRD Minister
Union HRD Minister Arjun Singh today called on the educational institutions in the country to effectively utilise the latest ICT resources to provide high quality education.
Singh emphaises the need to establishing advanced e-learning facilities like virtual classroom and video resource centres in every educational institution.
Speaking at a National Convention on 'Impact of ICT Development on Educational and Social Message Communication,' organised by Consortium of Educational Communication (CEC), Singh said, "It (ICT) can be a very effective tool for propagation of knowledge to a large number of people."
