Mauritius Prime Minister Paul Raymond Bernger today inaugurates the Government Online Centre and the new Government Portal of the country.
The Government Web Portal (GWP) serves as the “front office” vehicle for delivering integrated Government services to the citizens.
GWP aims to provide round-the-clock online Government information and services through a single window, to give users the choice to decide when, from where and how they want to interact with the Government, to eliminate administrative bottlenecks, thus reducing the processing time for the provision of most Government services; and to provide a simple and secure interface for accessing Government services and conducting online transactions.
