The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Indias national secondary education administration, plans to resume the second phase of counselling services to the students from May 23 to June 6.
About 39 principals and trained counselors will participate from Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Jaipur, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Noida, Meerut and Bhubaneshwar as well as Doha-Qatar, Dubai and Kuwait.
For the first time, the tele-counselling will be offered through an Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS). CBSE will also provide online counselling through emails (at
www.directoracad@hotmail.comand
www.cepavnesh@hotmail.com). CBSE website at www.cbse.nic also provides guidance to the students.
MTNL subscribers in Delhi and Mumbai can avail the IVRS service from May 24 onwards using the MTNL ten-digit number 1250-111-102, while BSNL can log in to the system through the number 1250-1-02.
Students from Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, will have to dial 95+STD code of cities of Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Ludhiana, and Pune, and 1250-1-02 (BSNL number).
Students dialling from all the other States will have to dial 0 and the STD code of the cities mentioned above followed by the 1250-1-02.
