"The private sector is playing a major role in the financing of ICT infrastructure and development of banking and financial services," said Prof. Wiseman Nkuhlu, Chief Executive of the NEPAD Secretariat in Abuja, Nigeria at an African Development Bank seminar recently.
Prof. Nkuhlu emphasised the need to strengthen multilateral co-operation among the African governments, multilateral institutions and the private sector in the financing of infrastructure.
