The BBC, Channel 4, the Open University and the British Film Institute BFI) have launched the Creative Archive, an initiative to provide access to public service audio and video archives.
The ambitious project will "to allow the British public to find, share, watch, listen and re-use the archive as a fuel for their own creative endeavors."
