Highlighting grass-roots response to the Global Health Epidemic,
broadcast journalists from different parts of the Asia-Pacific region will be creating a series of "HIV/AIDS Reports" in their respective countries for television programming.
It aims to raise awareness of the global health epidemic and highlight grass-roots initiatives in the region. These productions will be made available rights-free to all members of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU).
The regional broadcast day will take place on 1 December 2005 in
conjunction with World AIDS Day.
