IT volunteers needed for Africa

By sharing your IT skills to build capacity in developing countries of Africa, Asia you can also develop your management skills. Living and working alongside local communities, and in local organizations, the volunteers will put theirs experience in IT to good use.

IVO volunteers working in IT strengthens the ability of schools, non-governmental organizations to conduct their work. The role of an ICT volunteer can vary greatly from placement to placement. Typically, placements involve teaching and/or training colleagues in a secondary or vocational school setting or could involve IT specialist roles such as network maintenance, programmers, website and database design
or volunteer may be asked to review and introduce new software/hardware.

Volunteers earn a local wage, preparatory grants and accommodation and flights will be paid for.
