The World Summit Award national contest in Nigeria, also known as the Nigerian eContent Awards , has been officially launched in Lagos.
The contest was launched with the first awareness session held at the Lagos Digital Village on the 4th of June, 2005. Other awareness sessions have been planned for the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and other locations in Yenogoa and Port Harcourt.
Volunteer contact points are also presenty creating
awareness through posters and souvenirs in Zamfara, Sokoto, Kaduna, Kano, Ilorin, Enugu and Jos, among others. The conference has called for entries, which can be submitted via the contest website - www.wsisawards.org.ng - which also houses every information necessary for participation in the contest.
