Citizenskills is a multimedia resource for developing English language
in the context of citizenship. Comprising a CD ROM with information, a
glossary, interactive and print based materials, teacher guidance,
suggestions for additional activities and a scene builder tool for
constructing dialogues, it will be relevant to english of speakers of other languages (ESOL) teachers working with asylum seekers, refugees and other recent arrivals to the UK.
Citizenskills was part-funded by the ASSET UK Equal Community Initiative
ESF programme and the LSC.
The English language content of the materials is pitched at Entry Levels
2 and 3 of the Adult ESOL core curriculum.
