Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) will host the 93rd session of the Indian Science Congress (ISC) 2006 from January 3-7.
The theme for the five-day Congress is "Integrated Rural Development: Science and Technology", president I V Subba Rao said.
About 7,000 scientists from all over the world would participate in the event.
Widely seen as a major event for scientific community and a link between research and policy-making, ISC will have 14 sectional meeting on various aspects related to general theme.
