Reliance Web World (RWW) has decided to vend its untapped e-learning platform this year.
The first of the e-learning projects have started unfolding from Orissa and Kerala. After a tie up with Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubhaneshwar for virtual classrooms, RWW has joined hands with Centre for Imaging Technology (C-Dit), Thiruvananthapuram to initiate the countrys first internationally validated online computer certification course IC3.
Management, technology, knowledge management and healthcare management are the courses that RWW is looking at initially. RWW is also in content-providing partnership negotiations with a couple of prestigious institutes in the United States.
Both online course and the virtual classroom programme are expected to tap a growing upmarket student segment of the market.
