Online facility for parents to assess students' progress

In a further step towards providing world class infrastructure to students and their parents, the Delhi Public School (DPS) Mathura Road has launched a web portal at which the latest about the students' progress besides other useful information to them and their parents will be posted.

Students, particularly young ones, most often fail or do not convey to their parents correctly about how they were faring in their studies, but now information about their progress in the class will be available at the website which can be easily accessed by the parents, said principal of the school M J Husain. The website will also enable students to do their own assessment in different subjects, said Mr Husain.

Chairman of the DPS society, Narendra Kumar, said that they have decided to bear educational expenses up to the university level of certain students admitted under the poor quota.
