Videography has come in handy for improving the skill levels and personality development of college students. V.R.S. College of Engineering and Technology at Arasur,Tamil Nadu,has put this technique to optimum use.
In the personality development programme held on the college premises under the aegis of the Training and Placement Cell recently, the 60-odd participating students were asked to give a two-minute presentation on themselves.
The entire proceedings were videographed and the film was later screened for the students to evaluate their performance. The resource persons from the Helikx Institute at Salem pinpointed the positive and negative aspects of the students, and also suggested corrective measures to overcome the drawbacks.
